Why it exists

QFXtoQBO is a browser-based financial file converter for bookkeepers and small businesses importing bank transactions into compatible QuickBooks Desktop editions. It converts QFX, OFX and CSV into Web Connect (.qbo), with transaction previews, CSV column mapping and retained source transaction IDs. Financial file contents stay in the browser; no bank connection or AI processing is used. It supports single-account posted USD checking, savings and credit-card transactions, up to 2 MB and 10,000 rows. Limited monthly exports are free; an optional USD9 non-renewing 30-day Pro pass offers a larger allowance. It does not support PDF, native Excel, investment accounts or non-USD transactions. Import depends on QuickBooks edition and institution identifiers. Independent tool, not affiliated with Intuit or Quicken.
