Why it exists

LurkAPI is a social media data API for developers and AI apps. One GET request returns clean JSON from public pages on 16 platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Telegram, Snapchat, Truth Social, Google, eBay, Linktree and any web page. It helps teams that track competitors' ads, vet creators, follow what a subreddit says about a product, or give a Claude or ChatGPT agent live social data instead of what it remembers. Today they either maintain their own scrapers or pay $1 and up per 1,000 requests elsewhere. There are 88 endpoints, most at 1 credit a call, and answers come back in about a second on average. Credits come in one-off packs from $9 and never expire. New accounts get 100 free credits with no card, and a balance under 25 tops back up to 25 every day. Failed calls are free, and the same endpoints work as an MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. LurkAPI reads public data only.
